Didn't most of the companions not witness regenerations? Rose saw Nine regenerate to Ten, but Ten regenerated alone... so neither Martha nor Donna saw, nor did Amy and Rory since they've only known Eleven...

I meant generally a regeneration or close to it. Rose in Parting of the ways. Jack Donna and Rose in stolen earth/journeys end. River/Rory/Amy in Impossible astronaut
