What if they made Melody Pond’s first regeneration/second incarnation a black woman so that they can show that a time lord/lady can also change skin color after a regeneration and hint to us that the 12th doctor may have another skin color?
A fact that boosts my theory is that Paterson Joseph was considered for the role of the 11th doctor
